Candidate tasks

• Define functions on SW level and develop software for embedded systems

  series products in the field of automotive as electronic control units (ECUs)

• Responsibility to develop cross the whole life cycle as to well defined

  development rules and within quality parameters according to automotive

  processes, external (customer) and internal requirements including technical

  reviews and functional safety related work packages
•Update, maintain and review requirements, architectural-, design- and test

  level specifications
• Perform analysis and resolution of issues reported either from internal and

  external sources, estimate efforts and timeline together with the problem

  resolution manager and resolve issues either internal at the plant or on-site at

  the customer
• Define, update, review and perform test cases on module, integration and

  requirement level including safety related test cases as well as regression

  tests and document its results
• Provide technical series support including vehicle tests on-site at customer

  premises
 
Your Profile
 

• Comprehensive education in the field of electronics and/or computer science

  (HTL, FH/TU)
• Experience in developing safety criticial embedded systems (microcontroller

   platforms, realtime operating systems, “C”/C++”, assembler)
• For professional/senior developers at least 5 years (3 years for post-graduate

  candidates) of practical experience in embedded systems with focus on

  automotive transforming requirements into production releases till start of

  production (SOP)
• Applied work flow using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, Sprints, and

  implementations at least on successful production releases for SOP
• For junior developers: Knowledge base in deep embedded C/C++ (and

  assembler)

Additional benefits/nice to have

• Knowledge of any of the following industry standards such as Functional

  Safety according to ISO26262, IEC61508 or AUTOSAR
• Matlab, Simulink, MISRA, QAC, Polyspace, Enterprise Architect
• Experiences with Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) methodologies
• Practical experience with other realtime OS, such as Linux Embedded, WIN10

For this position a minimum gross salary of EUR 35.000,- per year is offered. The overpayment resulting actuals depend on your experience and qualification.
